Nicky Belton's background is in fashion and textile design. Having graduated from Winchester School of Art in 1991, Nicky's skills were first utilised as a milliner, where she built a substantial and loyal client base, and supplied to some of the best known agencies.

Six years later, Nicky Belton's creative talents are focussed in two different areas – paintings and interiors. Belton's passion for pattern, texture, form and colour are apparent in all aspects of her work but it is her vivid imagination that sets her apart.

Handmade papers and vibrant coloured inks form an effective medium for her paintings and combine well with a varied subject matter, including her rather unusual shoe fetish.
